At Morasha, our purpose for existence is to raise our children with pride in their heritage, while enhancing a greater communal understanding of Sephardic Judaism’s beauty. We’re focused on Chicago, while our greater goal is to spread to Jewish communities across the United States.

With seasonal workshops, extracurricular programs for all that enhance Sephardic heritage and cultural awareness, as well as unique initiatives designed for Sephardic children, all will learn, grow, and cherish.

COMMUNAL SUPPORT

From community shul membership grants to Bar and Bat Mitzvah grants, Morasha lends support to the broader Sephardic community through their in-place institutions to help connect new generations to their past.

It is very difficult to raise children with an appreciation for their Sephardic heritage in today’s Jewish world, but Morasha has created a program that truly enhances our Avodat Hashem from so many angles. From helping our community schools and yeshivot to incorporate Sephardic minhagim into their daily routine, to providing engaging and meaningful educational materials & programs, Morasha has been a game changer for our family. We are so grateful for all that it has done.
