When we know where we come from, we pave a new way forward.
Morasha is dedicated to spreading the beauty of Sephardic culture, enhancing community awareness, and raising pride in our youth of their heritage. We do this through education, events, communal support and diverse initiatives.
Education
Morasha was founded with an understanding that within the general day-school system, Sephardic education is integral for a new generation of Sephardi children. We’ve partnered with schools and institutions in Chicago to bring a greater emphasis to Sephardic heritage while teaching a new generation their beautiful heritage.
Current Partners
Through a Morasha-created curriculum and activities, we’ve partnered with schools and institutions to create an awareness and appreciation of Sephardic tradition.
Curriculum Development
Morasha develops and provides comprehensive Sephardic educational materials tailored for classroom use. These materials ensure that Sephardic traditions, history, and religious practices are accurately represented and taught to students.
Institutional Partnerships
Morasha actively partners with schools, yeshivot and educational institutions to integrate Sephardic education into their curriculums. These partnerships help ensure the preservation and appreciation of Sephardic heritage within the broader educational community.
With seasonal workshops, extracurricular programs that enhance Sephardic heritage and unique initiatives designed for Sephardic children, all will learn, grow, and cherish.
